NRI woman working in private firm raped in Delhi, CEO booked

On Sunday, the police reported that the CEO of a private company has been charged with the alleged rape of an NRI woman employed in his office. The incident, as per the police, occurred on September 14, 2023, at a five-star hotel in the Chanakyapuri area of New Delhi district. Following a complaint from the US citizen of Indian origin on Saturday night, an FIR has been filed against the accused under Section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code at the Chanakyapuri police station, according to officials.
