US reaches H-1B cap for fiscal year 2024

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that it has received enough petitions to reach the cap for H-1B foreign work visas for fiscal year 2024. USCIS stated that it has received the required number of petitions for both the regular cap of 65,000 H-1B visas and the master's cap of 20,000 H-1B visas. Non-selection notices will be sent to registrants in the coming days. USCIS will continue to accept and process petitions exempt from the cap, including petitions for current H-1B workers.
