Missing Indian student found dead, UK police appeal for information

The Metropolitan Police in London are appealing for information regarding the last movements of Gurashman Singh Bhatia, an Indian student whose body was found in a lake in the Canary Wharf area. Bhatia, who was reported missing after a night out with friends, was discovered by police divers in the water in South Quay. The police have released a CCTV image of Bhatia and are asking anyone who may have seen him in the Marsh Wall area on the evening of December 14 and in the early hours of December 15 to come forward.

Indian origin transport minister of Singapore, S Iswaran, pleaded not guilty of 27 charges labelled against him on Thursday.
