Indian-origin man sentenced for dangerous driving, abusing cop in Singapore

An Indian-origin man, K. Pradeep Ram, was sentenced to 21 months and two weeks in prison and fined S$5,000 for dangerous driving and using threatening and abusive words towards a police officer in Singapore. Ram pleaded guilty to four charges, including dangerous driving causing grievous hurt. He breached Covid-19 protocols to drink with his friends and got into a fight with his friend Pravin. While under the influence of alcohol, Ram drove his lorry in a dangerous manner, causing Pravin to be dragged along the road and sustain multiple injuries.
