French airport provides makeshift base for Indians on grounded flight

Around 300 Indian nationals stranded in France due to a plane grounding suspected of human trafficking are being cared for at Vatry airport. The passengers, including 13 unaccompanied minors, were on a flight operated by Romanian charter company Legend Airlines. French police intervened during a technical stopover en route from Dubai and launched a judicial investigation into suspected human trafficking. The Indian general consulate officials are regularly visiting the stranded passengers. The Indian embassy in Paris and the Indian foreign ministry have not commented on the situation.
