Family raises questions over Indian worker's death in Singapore

The relatives of a 23-year-old Indian construction worker who died in Singapore have sought an explanation from authorities over the conditions of the accident. The family is questioning why an ambulance was not called and why the worker was not taken to the nearest hospital, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, which was only a 5-10 minute drive away. The deceased worker, Ponraman Eazhumalai, had a diploma in mechanical engineering and was the sole breadwinner for his family in Tamil Nadu. The police have stated that no foul play is suspected in the accident.
