Retired man from Bengaluru runs only Indian restaurant in Uzbekistan's Samarkand

A retired man from Bengaluru, Mohammad Naushad, has opened the only Indian restaurant in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The restaurant, called "The Indian Kitchen," has become popular among Indian students studying medicine in the city, as well as locals who enjoy the diverse menu. Naushad, who had no previous experience in the restaurant industry, decided to settle in Samarkand after being surprised by the lack of Indian food options. The restaurant receives around 350-400 visitors per day .
