Work permit validity increased to five years for green card applicants in US

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has extended the validity period for certain Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) to five years. This applies to categories such as foreign nationals with pending green card applications. Previously, EADs were only valid for two years, requiring frequent extensions. The extension is expected to reduce the need for extension applications and help address processing delays.
