Police report filed against Indian origin suspended lawyer, another, for posts during Singapore presidential election cooling-off period

The Elections Department of Singapore has filed a police report against an Indian-origin lawyer and a Chinese-origin activist for publishing social media posts during the cooling-off period before the country's presidential election. Ravi Madasamy and Iris Koh allegedly violated Singaporean law by engaging in electioneering and campaigning during this period. The posts were said to promote other candidates. The police may investigate whether offenses were committed.
