Indian origin man convicted of injuring compatriot who died in a Singapore hospital

An Indian-origin man in Singapore has been found guilty of causing harm to a compatriot who later died from his injuries. The man, Sakthivel Sivasurian, also admitted to giving false information to a public servant while on bail. The incident occurred after an altercation between Sakthivel and the victim, Manjunatha Louis Ravi, who fell and sustained head and neck injuries. The defense argued that the initial injury was not fatal, but rather the subsequent attempts to lift and move the victim caused his death.
