Indian-origin landlord banned from letting homes for 10 years in UK

An Indian-origin landlord in the UK has been given one of the country's longest letting bans, lasting up to 10 years, after repeatedly breaching safety requirements and committing serious housing offences. Nilendu Das has been added to the Rogue Landlord Database and banned from letting or managing properties for a decade. The ban was issued by Sheffield City Council in August and is the first of its kind applied for by the council.
