Singapore's Indian-origin ministers sue PM's brother over state-owned bungalow rental issue

Two Indian-origin cabinet ministers in Singapore, K Shanmugam and Vivian Balakrishnan, have sued Lee Hsien Yang, the younger brother of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, for defamation. The lawsuit is related to allegations made by Lee Hsien Yang regarding the rental of two state-owned bungalows. The ministers have demanded an apology, withdrawal of the allegations, and payment of damages. Lee Hsien Yang and his wife have left the country after declining a police interview regarding lying in judicial proceedings about the will of their late father.
